Terms of service

These terms apply to every purchase from Lilla Frö (lillafro.com), a small business run by one maker in London, United Kingdom. By placing an order you agree to them. Questions? Get in touch through the contact form.

1. Our products
Every Lilla Frö hat is hand-knitted in 100% cashmere. Because each hat is made by hand, small variations in size, stitch and colour are part of its character and are not faults. Colours may look slightly different on different screens. Sizes are approximate and are shown in the size guide on each product page.

2. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP). Shipping costs are shown at checkout. Payment is taken when you place your order and is processed securely by Shopify Payments or other payment providers shown at checkout. I never see or store your full card details.

3. Your order
You will receive an email confirming your order. A contract between us is formed when your order is dispatched. Stock is limited, so if a hat sells out before your order can be fulfilled I will let you know and refund you in full.

4. Delivery
Delivery options, costs and times are set out in our shipping policy. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. International customers are responsible for any import duties or taxes.

5. Returns and cancellations
You have the right to cancel and return ready-made hats within 14 days of delivery, as set out in our refund policy. This does not apply to commissions, which are made to your own specification, unless they are faulty.

6. Commissions
For commissioned hats we will agree the style, colours, size, price and an estimated completion time before I start. I may ask for payment in advance. Completion times are estimates, as every piece is made by hand.

7. Care and safety
Hand wash cold with a gentle wool or cashmere wash and dry flat. Hats are intended to be worn under adult supervision. Please check regularly for loose threads, and do not leave a baby to sleep wearing a hat.

8. Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights under UK consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015, or my liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Otherwise, my liability for any order is limited to the price you paid for it.

9. Intellectual property
All designs, photos, drawings and text on this website belong to Lilla Frö and may not be copied or reused without permission.

10. Privacy
How your personal information is used is explained in our privacy policy.

11. Changes and governing law
I may update these terms from time to time; the version in force when you order applies. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction.
